Beauty on a budget

Here I'm going to show you some of the best drugstore beauty finds for makeup and skin care. Their is no reason to be ashamed of not wanting to spend crazy amounts of money on high end products. No one needs to break the bank to look their best. In fact, Ive seen some drugstore brands that offer better results then more expensive brands. I'm excited to show you some of my favorites that can all be purchased at Walgreens.

Mint julep mask is one of my favorite drug store skin care items. Usually I buy it from Walgreens. It contains kaolin, a type of white clay that draws impurities out of the skin and has been used for hundreds of years in facial spas. Mint julep mask contains glycerin, a great moisturizer. This mask also contains Bentonite clay as well which is an ingredient thats really effective for treating oily skin types. I recommend this for acne prone or congested skin. It has a very short ingredients list which is beneficial as the more ingredients a product has the more chances it has of causing irritation to the skin. It also has a wonderful refreshing minty smell, and leaves the skin soft and smooth. It costs only 2.99 purchased from Walgreens.

Eco-tools foundation brush. This is one of my most used makeup brushes because it provides a beautiful flawless finish when applying liquid foundation to the skin. It is Eco-friendly and used from recycled material. I would say it is even comparable to the results I get from using a MAC stippling brush. If properly cared for this brush lasts a long time. This would make a good stocking stuffer for the holidays coming up! It costs only 5.99 at walgreens

L'oreal linquer intense felt tip liquid liner.  I adore this liquid liner because of its felt tip. It is very easy to create a cat eye with this look even if you are a beginner or have a shaky hand. You can do a dramatic look or a delicate thin line. After applied it lasts all day especially if used with a good eye primer. It costs 8.49 at Walgreens.

Maybelline fit me blush. I love this blush because its not shimmery and is very wearable. It creates a subtle glow to the cheeks. It is oil free so it won't clog your pores. It's blends easy so you wont end up with clown makeup too! I like the fact their are a wide variety of shades to choose from as well, so their is a color for every skin tone. My favorite color is in medium-pink. This blush is not dramatic so it would be very appropriate for every day office looks or school. It costs 5.49 at Walgreens.

Biore makeup removing cleansing towelettes. I love these because they are perfect for taking your makeup off when you aren't by a sink and can't wash your face or when you're just feeling lazy! These towelettes contain green tea which is rich in powerful antioxidants that protect and prevent premature aging of the skin. These are also hypo-allergenic which means it wont irritate your skin and is gentle for sensitive skin types. It costs 7.99 at walgreens for one pack.
