MAC prep + prime transparent finishing powder review

Mac's prep + prime is now a must have for me, especially in the summer time.  After I noticed my face was melting at a fast rate, I just knew I had to do something. Previously I had been using "Get Even" by benefit, which had amazing coverage but did nothing to control oil. My aunt, a die hard MAC fan, recommended this for me. So I tried it out and was amazed at how long my makeup lasted! Usually I have to touch up my face every 2 hours(on a good day) after using this to set my makeup, I didn't have to touch up my makeup for the rest of the day. This is now an essential in my makeup collection.

I'm moving to San Francisco!

I'm moving to San Francisco! I'm going to school for esthetics and I could not be more excited about living in such a beautiful city. I've only been to it once but that was long enough to know I am going to love it. After I bought my plane ticket it became so real to me that this is actually happening. Yes, I am feeling nervous because its such a huge change but I don't want to live with regrets. I am surrounded by loving and supportive people and I am so grateful for that. Feeling so blessed.

First ever MAC haul!

So I never tried any MAC products before because I because I usually go straight to the "Too Faced" goodies when I'm shopping. I am a makeup "creature of habit" I guess LOL. My sweet aunt gave me a gift card so I decided to try some products out.

How to cover up dark circles

Dark circles are a pretty common issue. They can be caused by several things such as not getting enough sleep, hereditary factors, food allergies, or even just having thin skin around the eye area. This tutorial is going to show you how to cover up dark circles without it settling into fine lines throughout the day.

Happy PRIDE!

How to wear bold eye colors

Ok, I am a neutral girl for sure but sometimes it is really fun to experiment with bold colors. I will say though that this can go wrong very easily. So here I am going to show you a few tips on how to wear blue eyeshadow, but these rules apply to using bold eye colors in general. Blue eyeshadow has a lot of haters, and for good reason. It is one of the hardest eyeshadow colors to wear. But with a few simple steps it can actually look quite nice! Keep reading if you love blue eyeshadow but don't want to look like you just got out of crazy town! Do not fear the blue eyeshadow... I will show you the way :)

Start off with a clean, primed eye area.

Makeup of the day! :)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to quickly show you my makeup and hair I did today. I love when people do posts like this because it inspires me to try new things out. Today I did a pink nude lip which Ive been obsessed with lately called "Turkish Delight" from Nars cosmetics. I also added some white highlight to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up a bit and then cut some false lashes in half and put them on the outer corners of the eye. I love them because they are super subtle so if you apply them right you can fool a lot of people LOL! For the face I used high beam by benefit cosmetics to brighten my skin and give it a pretty "glowy" look. For my hair I used hot rollers from Conair, they are really great for creating volume. Anyway, I'm so sorry for the lack of posts Ive been super busy but plan on doing more tutorials soon. Have a lovely day! :)
