Smokey silver eyes: a tutorial

Happy holidays everyone! Here i'm going to be showing you a tutorial on a silver Smokey eye thats perfect for parties or special occasions but can also be toned down for an everyday look. I hope you enjoy this tutorial! :)

First step... Apply a shimmering white eyeshadow to the inner corners of the eye. Use a small dome shaped brush, or a q-tip will work just as well. This really opens up the eyes and makes them stand out.

Now taking a flat shader brush, apply a shimmering silver eye shadow all over the lid and stop at the crease.

Now select a smokey grey color and work it into the crease and outer corner. Remember not to take it to high up, its important to leave room for blending. Keep the color mostly saturated on the outer V, only dragging a very small amount into the crease.

For this step, grab a blending brush and a medium brown color and apply this directly above where we applied the smokey gray color and blend it until their are no harsh lines. This helps with the color transition from dark to light and really ties all the colors together in harmony.

Now it's time to add the finishing touches- eyeliner and mascara! I like to add a little wing on the end but that is optional. It's best to pair this look with a nude or baby pink lip. Remember, You can always customize this look to your liking. You can make it more more dramatic by adding some glam fake lashes or even  tone it down a bit for a more everyday look by adding less gray to the crease and outer corners. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Wishing you a happy holiday season!
